You might ask why HCPG?  Why Now?

Feeling Isolated?  With No One to Talk to?

High Country Peer Group is created for you, the business owner or leader in your organization, and is designed to provide a place to learn and grow.  You actually operate independently, managing all aspects of your business yourself.  By working alone, you face unique challenges including limited resources (e.g., time and money), minimal motivation and accountability, isolation, and a lack of a support network.  If that were not enough and maybe as a result, a study by Small Business Trends found that about half of all entrepreneurs experienced mental health issues relating to work.

What if you can get the fix for this at one place?

As a member once said, “You can’t afford not to participate if you want to take your company to the next level.  It is honest, candid, gut-level feedback.”  The type of feedback you can’t get anywhere else; everyone else, e.g., your employees, your vendors, your customers, your friends, your advisors, and your family all have inherent biases.  Further, sometimes you simply cannot talk to these people about ‘those’ issues/problems.  And, more than not, your gut tells you something, but you are not really sure what the right answer is.  This is where a peer group and an experienced executive coach comes in, forming ‘your trusted advisors.’  Where else can you get learning opportunities, knowledge sharing, collaboration and networking opportunities all in the form of ‘been-there, done-that, made-that-mistake’ experienced-based form?

The HCPG model is built patterned after other well-known and larger offerings, yet is scaled to the needs business owners or leaders in small- to mid-sized organizations.  The model is supported by a rich history of assisting others in similar journeys, composed of:

  • Facilitating over 1,100 hours of peer group meetings.

  • Coaching for over 6,100 hours with individual members.

  • Doing management consulting for nearly 50 years.

In one recent year, as an example, we had four peer group members on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing and one on Inc. 500 Fastest Growing list. The proof is in the results.
